The brief of this project was to design a library in downtown portland OR. the main idea behind my design is to create a more peaceful environment on the second floor and keep the noisiest programs on the first floor. the goal was to create a main circulation that's accessible to all, the second floor is intended to have a forest-like feel with the lighting and the custom-designed columns.

I 3D printed the columns I designed to use for my physical model. Also, I had a virtual reality headset to provide the reviewer with an opportunity to experience the building firsthand.
